If you're looking for information in an online search engine like Google or Yahoo, you often find too much information and not all of it is useful (and some of it is just bad). The involves a series of questions designed to help students evaluate online information to determine if they should use the information for class projects, papers, or presentations.
Evaluating Websites and Other Sources
If you cannot determine the credibility of the information you are using from a website, it's best not to use it to factually support your argument. Using biased or inaccurate information in your paper can negatively impact your grade.
