Librarians are always available on the Reference desk any time the library is open. That's every day except Sunday. We can help you find the articles you need for your assignments and help you cite your sources correctly.
Library computers do not require a login or have a time limit. The library has printers, copiers, and calculators. Group study rooms allow you to meet with classmates to work on projects together and you can check out textbooks from Course Reserves.
The library opens at 8 a.m. and stays open until 7 p.m. during summer and 9 p.m. during fall and spring. Find us on the third floor of Building 9 and come over to the reference desk.
To check out any resources or access articles and eBooks off campus, you must have a library card from a library in the Peninsula Library System.
If you do not have a card from one of these libraries, you may apply for one at Cañada Library. To apply:
Besides the printed books, magazines and journals available on the shelves, Library collections include literally thousands of online articles, ebooks, and streaming videos.
You can access any of these directly when using a computer in the Library or your own laptop connected to the school's wi-fi. To access them from anywhere else (off-campus), you'll need the number and PIN from your Library Card.
