Do not forget Google's Gemini (formerly Bard), which allows users to quickly summarize and aggregate search results and journal/news articles.
You can use A.I. to speed up your school work, however you must always do the work and deliverables yourself.
There are a couple of ways that you can use A.I. to speed up your reading:
DO the research yourself to find the sources on the Library databases (journal articles, websites, newspapers, and books, etc.).
READ the article Abstract or Description in the Library database (this will be the quickest way to filter articles you do not want)
ASK your favorite A.I. chatbot (Google's Gemini, OpenAI's ChatGPT, etc.) to summarize your article.
READ the A.I. summary (this will allow you to quickly skim the article).
If the article still looks interesting and relevant to you, then READ the whole article.
USE the article for your purposes.
You are able to use A.I. to help find articles as well. This should not take the place of doing your own research as it may not be as effective and efficient as doing your own research. For example, sometimes A.I. does not know which articles are most relevant to your topic and sometimes A.I. has been known to make up citations. Always remember to do your own work and not rely soley on A.I.
An example: Ask your favorite A.I. chatbot to:
Find relevant articles related to your topic
e,g,: find relevant articles related to teen smoking
Find important and seminal articles related to your topic
e.g.: find seminal articles related to artificial intelligence
