Plagiarism: What it is and how to avoid it

ZoteroBib

Using ZoteroBib, you can create a bibliography without creating an account or installing a browser extension. ZoteroBib supports APA, MLA, and CSE citation styles.

  • Copy the URL from the browser's address bar on the webpage with the item.
  • Go to https://zbib.org and paste the URL into the search box and click "Cite." Check the citation against the citation guide for the style you are using.
  • Click "Close" to add the citation to your bibliography. 
  • Continue to add entries using URLs. Copy or type in an ISBN, DOI, or PubMed ID if you want to cite a book or PDF.
  • Under the "Bibliography"  drop-down menu, choose your citation style. Double-click on entries that need editing.
  • Choose "Export" from the drop-down menu for your completed bibliography that you can paste into a Word document or other file.
