Scholarly Articles and Databases

Here you will find a wide variety of databases and other places to find academic or scholarly articles about Shakespeare and his work. My personal favorite is JSTOR's Understanding Shakespeare, a free, easy to use resource that allows you to easily see how often lines from Shakespeare's plays have been written about in scholarly articles and to easily access those articles.

Scholarly Articles

To search our library's databases for scholarly, academic, or peer-reviewed articles, use the OneSearch bar on our homepage. Make sure you change "Search Cañada College" to "articles." Also, click on "Peer-Reviewed Journals" in the limiter column on the left -and side of the page.
